Can we talk about how everyone uses Papyrus for 'natural' brands now?

I mean, I was looking at a new kombucha shop in Portland and their whole sign was Papyrus, then I saw a yoga studio menu with it, even a local honey jar. Idk, maybe it's just me but it feels like a default pick instead of a real choice. Has anyone found a good font that gives that earthy feel without being so overdone?

Papyrus is the comic sans of trying to look organic. It went from a fun font to a total crutch. The kombucha shops and yoga studios all blend together now. Try something like Garamond for a classic look, or even just a clean sans serif. The goal should be to stand out, not look like every other "natural" brand on the block.

Honestly, I don't really mind it. It works for a reason and people recognize the vibe it's going for. At least it's not comic sans.

Totally agree with @parker_price, it's like they all forgot other fonts exist (maybe try something handwritten for a change).
