My car keys were on the counter, then they just weren't

I put my keys on the kitchen counter yesterday at 3 PM, right next to the fruit bowl. I turned around to grab my bag, and when I looked back, they were gone. I searched the entire house for an hour, even under the couch. They showed up this morning, sitting exactly in the middle of the empty counter. Has anyone else had something just vanish and reappear like that?

My remote control does this weekly. It will be on the coffee table, then it's just gone. I'll find it later in the fridge next to the milk or balanced on top of a door frame. I've started to believe it has a tiny life of its own and just goes for walks.

Bro I swear mine does the same, just put a tile tracker on it.

Actually, tile trackers are great but they only work if you remember where you put the tile. Lost mine for a month, it was in a coat pocket.
