Warning: Giant's Causeway's basalt columns messed with my head

I just got back from Northern Ireland where I stood on the Giant's Causeway. Those basalt columns prove that earth's forces are way more impressive than anything humans build. Why do we ignore the stories rocks tell us about our planet's history?

But those columns took nature 60 million years to make, no blueprints needed. That kind of raw power just puts our best efforts in perspective.
