Why do unboxing videos get labeled as full reviews?
They show the box and specs but never how the thing really works day to day. It's useless for making a choice.

And that's exactly why I skip those videos most of the time. They call it a review, but it's just someone opening a box and reading the spec sheet. It tells you nothing about how the product holds up after a week or if it has any annoying quirks. I've bought stuff based on unboxings and been let down because it didn't work as expected in real life. It feels lazy from the creators and hurts buyers who need honest feedback. We need more actual use reviews, not just pretty box shots.

Honestly, unboxing videos give you that initial hype and show the product's first impressions. They're perfect for when you just wanna see if it looks good and what comes in the box. Not every review needs to be a long term test.
