I finally tried walking my dog on the new Greenway trail versus our old neighborhood loop
The difference was HUGE. On the Greenway, we saw a red fox, three different kinds of woodpeckers, and a painted rock someone left on a bench. Our boring old loop just has the same three barking dogs and Mr. Henderson's overwatered lawn. Has anyone else found a specific path that just makes the whole walk better?

Totally get that. We switched to a path by the creek and it's a game changer, way more to look at than just houses. The sound of the water alone makes it so much more relaxing.

Switching up the route is the best thing you can do for a daily walk. It keeps both you and the dog from getting bored with the same old sights. Have you looked for any other trails in your area?

My dog actually gets nervous on new trails, so we stick to the same block most days. He seems to like the routine, honestly.
