Am I the only one who refuses to glue down LVP on a slab without checking moisture first?

Last month I pulled up a job in Austin where the GC skipped the meter test and now the planks are cupping everywhere. Who else has walked into a nightmare fix because someone thought skipping the prep was fine?

Pulled up 800 feet of ruined LVP last spring right here in Houston, same thing.

Honestly, that's why I always insist on a calcium chloride test before anything else. Skipping it is just asking for callbacks and angry homeowners. Ngl, that Austin job sounds like a complete mess, hope you got paid for the redo.
