My realtor told me to stop looking at homes online before visiting them

She said I was getting too attached to photos that didn't match reality. After she showed me a house in Denver where the kitchen was half the size it looked in the listing, I stopped scrolling Zillow until after I walked through the door. Anyone else have a realtor give advice that actually changed your whole search approach?

Did you try focusing more on the neighborhood and street noise rather than just the house photos? I learned to drive by at different times of day before even stepping inside, and it saved me from a few bad decisions. That one change made my whole search way less stressful.

Read somewhere that 80% of buyers get disappointed by listing photos.
