Checked out that new condo building downtown and the HOA fee was $850 a month!
I toured the new Riverwalk Towers yesterday and the sales agent casually mentioned the monthly fee covers a pool and gym, but that's a huge extra cost to factor in for a first mortgage payment.

Exactly, it really adds up fast. Our electric bill jumped almost eighty dollars last month just from charging at home. Feels like you're paying to drive twice.
