That robin who showed up at 5:47 AM three days in a row

I sat on my porch Tuesday morning and noticed this one robin kept landing on the same branch of my maple tree at almost the exact same time. Checked my phone clock and it was 5:47 AM. Wednesday and Thursday it happened again, give or take a minute. I wonder if birds have some internal schedule or if it just liked that spot for catching bugs in the early light. Has anyone else noticed a bird visiting at a super consistent time like this?

Have you tried sitting there a little earlier to see if it shows up waiting for the sun?

lol that's wild, I've had the exact same thing happen with a blue jay at my feeder. I started showing up ten minutes early just to see if it would land on the same branch and wait, and sure enough it landed right at 6:00 on the dot. Brains are weird like that, birds definitely have routines just like we do.

lmao I did something similar but with a crow at my old apartment. Started noticing this one crow would show up on the balcony railing every morning around 7:45 so I started leaving out peanuts. One day I overslept and woke up at 8:30 to find it just sitting there staring at me through the glass, probably judging me hard. Crows definitely hold grudges too, I forgot to put peanuts out ONE time and it pecked at my window for like twenty minutes straight. Birds are basically tiny feathered neighbors with attitude problems lol.

Pretty sure that crow was just hungry, not holding a grudge.
