That blue jay feeder spot I used every morning for 2 years is gone now

I used to put out peanuts at 6:30 sharp on the same stump, but last week I switched to a hanging feeder after a raccoon kept wiping it out at night. Has anyone else had to change their setup because of a sneaky raccoon?

Wait, you had the same spot for TWO YEARS and just now switched? That's wild, I would've caved way sooner with a raccoon messing with my setup.

Raccoons are like furry little chaos machines, I get that. But unless the thing is tearing through drywall or setting up a meth lab in your attic, is it really that serious? People act like a trash panda in the yard is a sign of the apocalypse. A little noise and a tipped over bin is not a war crime. Just get a bungee cord for the lid and move on.
