Pro tip: stop ignoring the lint trap after a load of dark towels
I always just emptied the lint trap every few loads, figured it was fine. Then my buddy who runs a laundromat in Phoenix told me he sees dryers lose 15 minutes of drying time just from a half-clogged screen. Has anyone else tested the difference cleaning it every single time makes?

And it's the same with most stuff people ignore because it doesn't seem broken. Like changing air filters or blowing out your computer fans - the slow decline is invisible until you finally fix it and kick yourself for waiting. A clean lint trap is just one of those tiny wins that adds up to less wasted time and energy without you even noticing.

Hold on, is this really that big of a deal? I clean mine once a month and my towels still come out bone dry in the same time.
