Wasted $200 on self-tapping screws for metal studs
Bought a bulk box of generic self-tapping screws for a steel stud job last month. They kept snapping or stripping out, cost me half a day redoing panels. Anyone else get burned by cheap screws on metal framing?

That lesson cost you $200 but saved you from WAY more frustration later.

$200 seems like a lot of money to lose your cool over... screws break sometimes, it happens. Maybe just a bad batch or you're being a little dramatic about it.
