My cousin's wedding slideshow died like that at the reception. Total silence for five minutes. Tech fails at the worst times, man. I'd be sweating bullets if my whole portfolio just vanished in front of someone. That's why I keep everything on my phone, a tablet, and a tiny thumb drive now. Never trust just one link or one device, especially with coffee shop wifi.

Oh man that's brutal. I always thought digital portfolios were foolproof but watching someone's whole gallery crash mid-review would change ANYONE'S mind. Now I bring printed backups even for coffee shop meetings.

Printed backups are smart. I keep a cheap tablet loaded with everything too, just in case.
