Started using a 10 year old drawing tablet again for a week

Found my old Wacom Bamboo in a closet and decided to hook it up for a quick sketch. The pressure sensitivity felt weird and my lines kept skipping, which was super frustrating. After three days of fighting it, I realized the old drivers were completely clashing with my current art program. I had to roll everything back to an older version of the software just to get it to work smoothly. It was a hassle, but it made me appreciate how much simpler the tech used to be, even if it was slower. Has anyone else had a weird time mixing old hardware with new setups?

Wait, you kept the old drivers for a whole decade? That's wild.

Honestly see it all the time with people and their phones or laptops too. They just stick with whatever software it came with forever because it still turns on. It's like a weird mix of laziness and not wanting to deal with potential new problems.

Right? Some things just work until they don't.
