My 8 year old nephew called my digital painting 'mid' yesterday
He scrolled through my whole portfolio on my tablet and said every single piece needed more glow effects and that I should ask the 'Fornite kids' for tips, which stung way harder than any art critic review ever has.

Pretty sure the correct spelling is 'Fortnite' unless your nephew is playing a knockoff version of the game. But honestly, getting roasted by an 8 year old about glow effects is a new level of humbling I didn't know existed.

Actually my nephew told me the kids at school call it "Casualnite" because the glow skins are for tryhards who can't aim. He said the real flex is using default skins and still winning. I had no idea there was a whole social hierarchy in a kids game based on whether your character is glowing or not. It's like middle school all over again except the popular kids are just pixels.
