Found a weird trick to clear clogged injectors on a cold morning last January

I was working on an old Cummins ISX in a truck stop lot near Omaha when I cracked the fuel return line and let it drip for 30 seconds, and the engine smoothed right out after that - has anyone else tried something like that to save a tow?

Sure, just give her a tiny sip of fuel and she's good to go.
