Neighbor's leaf blower at 7AM stopped waking me up after 3 weeks

Drove me nuts for months. Every Saturday morning like clockwork. Then I spent $15 on a white noise machine from Target. First week felt weird. Second week I slept through it. Third week I actually missed the sound when he was out of town. Anyone else find cheap fixes for annoying noises that work way better than you expected?

White noise machine feels like overkill for a leaf blower, doesn't it... but I guess if it works it works.

Put the leaf blower on the other side of the house and crank the white noise. The sound waves from the machine can actually cancel out the drone of the motor if you get the frequency right. My buddy tested it with a decibel meter and dropped the noise by almost half.
