The ketchup packet squeeze that broke my brain at Wendy's

So I'm at the Wendy's on Thompson Lane, right, and I grab like 6 ketchup packets for my fries. For 30 years I've been tearing the corner off or biting the tip. Then this kid behind the counter goes 'you know you can just snap the back edge and it pops open clean.' I tried it and honestly my mind was blown, why did nobody tell me this. Has anyone else discovered a stupid simple trick way later than they should have?

Wait, you mean I've been doing it wrong for 30 years too and the answer was right there? I just tried it on a packet at home and the snap trick works way better than tearing, it gives you a clean little hole instead of a jagged mess. Now I'm wondering what other fast food secrets I've been missing out on, like maybe the straw wrapper or the lid on the drink cup. Honestly, it makes me question every basic thing I thought I knew.
