That bag of freeze-dried liver treats almost killed my dog last Saturday
I got a new bag from the pet store in Oak Park and didn't check the seal - it was torn and the treats had gone moldy. Has anyone else had packaging issues with those bulk bins at Pet Supplies Plus?

And you know what, @kellys78, I actually read somewhere that those bulk bins are a total gamble because they don't rotate stock properly. I heard a story from a vet tech who said they see dogs come in with mold poisoning from bulk-bought treats ALL the time. The bags sit out on the floor where temperature changes can make the seals fail, especially in humid weather like we've been having. So it's not just about checking the bag at the store, you gotta sniff the treats right away too because mold can grow fast even if the seal looks fine. I'm glad your dog is okay, but this is a real problem people need to watch for.
