Just saw a guy try to parallel park a moving van on 5th Avenue last Tuesday
Honestly, it was the most painful 15 minutes of my commute. This dude in a huge rental van was trying to squeeze into a spot meant for a compact car, blocking two lanes of traffic near Grand Central. He must have tried backing in like seven times, each attempt worse than the last. Has anyone else witnessed a parking disaster that brought the whole street to a standstill?

Painful 15 minutes" is a bit much. I kinda felt for the guy, we've all been in a tough spot with a big vehicle. Traffic happens.

That sounds brutal, but @fiona985 has a point about feeling for the guy. I saw a delivery truck get its mirror ripped off trying to turn onto a narrow side street once, it was a whole mess. The honking was unreal.
