Heard a sysadmin say 'just use a password manager' and it finally clicked for me
I was at a coffee shop last Tuesday and overheard this IT guy telling his friend about how he manages like 200 accounts just through Bitwarden. I've been using the same 3 passwords for everything for years because I thought password managers were too complicated. So I went home that night and set one up, took maybe 20 minutes. Has anyone else here had a moment where a simple tip like that made you totally change your habits?

Wait, did your buddy tell you about the time he set up a password manager for his mom? She kept locking herself out of her email and he spent like an hour on the phone with her.

Call me paranoid but handing all your logins to one company is like putting all your eggs in one very hackable basket... I remember seeing that LastPass breach a few years back and thinking "nope, not worth the risk." My system of writing passwords in a notebook hidden in my sock drawer has never failed me once.
