That one random Thursday where every scene I wrote just clicked

I spend most weeks staring at a blank page, but this one Thursday in March, four prompt ideas I'd jotted in my notes app all came together like puzzle pieces, and I wrote 3,000 words before noon. Has anyone else had a day where the writing brain just switches on, or does it feel totally random for you too?

Could it be the phases of the moon or something? Because I've had exactly one day like that in the last year, and it felt like cheating. Usually it's pure luck, not skill, when the words just show up. I try to chase that high by writing at the same time every day, but it never works. You just gotta take the win and not question it too hard.

Moon phases would explain a lot, honestly. Mine usually hits right after I've given up and started browsing cat videos, so the universe has a weird sense of timing. The chase is real though. I've tried every ritual from coffee timers to sitting in the same chair, and nothing sticks. Some days my brain just decides to show up, others it's like waiting for a bus that never comes.
