PSA: I was wrong about the weight limit on the old Manitowoc 4100W
I always heard the 4100W's chart was gospel, but I found a 1973 service bulletin from Manitowoc in a yard office in Detroit. It shows a 15% increase for certain lifts if you use the optional boom tip attachment. That's a huge jump they never put in the main manual. Has anyone else run into factory updates that change the book numbers?
