Rant: a regular insisted I stop using a razor on her neckline
She pointed at my shears and said, 'My hair needs a clean cut, not a scrape,' right in my chair at the salon in Bellingham. Has anyone else had a client push back hard on a standard technique you've used for years?

Switched to shears for my last three clients and they loved the softer look.

Clients can get really attached to their preferences. It's tough when a go-to method doesn't land right for someone.
