I chose a full bleach out over a color melt for a client's big change

My client in Springfield wanted to go from dark brown to platinum, and everyone at the salon said to do a slow color melt to keep it healthy. I went with a full bleach out in one session with Olaplex, and her hair is actually in great shape after 4 weeks. Does anyone think a single process can be better than a slow change sometimes?

Exactly. I tried to bleach my own hair once with a cheap kit and it turned into a brittle orange mess. Had to see a pro who used Redken pH Bonder in every step. That stuff was a lifesaver, kept my hair from just snapping off. It's crazy how one product in the process can change the whole game.
