Hit 500 RFIs in one project yesterday
Been tracking RFIs on a highrise job downtown and somehow we crossed 500 yesterday. That is more than my last three projects combined. Anyone else notice bigger projects just drown you in paperwork compared to smaller builds?

Buddy of mine had 600 on a hospital job and the architect changed elevations three times.

Bet the architect designed himself into a corner again.

Oh man, "designed himself into a corner" is exactly what happens with these big name architects. They get so caught up in making something look amazing on paper that they forget people actually have to live or work in it. I've seen it a bunch in old buildings downtown where the layout makes no sense for everyday use. You gotta think about function first or you end up with a headache for everyone else. It's like they're solving puzzles nobody asked them to solve.
