Finally got my head around the whole 'flat earth' thing after a week of digging
I mean, I kept seeing people argue about it online and I just couldn't figure out why anyone would believe it. So I spent like a full week, maybe 20 hours total, watching those long debate videos and reading old forum posts. The real turning point was when I found a specific 2015 video from a conference in Denver where a guy explained the whole 'antarctica is a wall' idea. Has anyone else actually gone down that rabbit hole and come out the other side with a clear answer?

Spent three days on that Denver conference video. My brain still feels like it's trying to do long division.

Three days is a serious commitment! What part of the video made your brain feel like it was doing long division? Was it the way they explained the data, or just how dry the whole thing was?

I watched maybe twenty minutes of that Denver keynote before my eyes glazed over. My attention span for that stuff is basically zero these days.
