Just had a day in the Gulf where everything went right for once

We were working on a pipeline repair off the coast of Louisiana last Thursday, and the vis was a solid 15 feet with almost no current for the whole 4-hour bottom time. My cutting torch lit on the first try and the welds passed NDT on the first pass, which never happens. Anyone else have those rare days where the ocean just decides to cooperate?

I mean, 15 feet of vis in the Gulf is actually pretty rare, most days you're lucky to get half that.

Dove off Destin last June and could barely see my own hand.
