Vent: Remember struggling with those fiddly camp stoves that needed priming?
I used my uncle's old white gas stove on a trip last month... it sputtered and took forever just to get a flame going. Now my little canister stove lights with a click and boils water in no time. But part of me misses the tinkering and the smell... does anyone still pack older gear for the fun of it, or is that just silly?

A buddy of mine brought his vintage stove last weekend just to tinker with it, lmao.

That sounds like a fire hazard waiting to happen. Those old things are better as decorations. Hope you guys had a smoke detector handy.
