Shoutout to the $30 meat grinder I got off Craigslist

Picked up a used #8 grinder for 30 bucks last month and it's already paid for itself in burger blends. Anyone else score a deal on used gear that actually worked out?

My uncle got a cheap angle grinder from a flea market once, thing had no guard on it at all. He was using it to cut some rebar and the disc shattered, sent plastic and metal bits flying everywhere. Lucky he was wearing safety glasses, but he still had to pick little chunks out of his work shirt for a week. That meat saw story sounds like a similar lesson in why you don't cheap out on power tools.
