Question about franchise disclosure documents I missed a detail in

I was reviewing a franchise agreement last month and found out the disclosure document requires 14 specific items or the contract is void in my state. Has anyone else run into missing info in their FDD?

Man I feel you on this, it's way too easy to glaze over when you're staring at pages of legal jargon. @michael_coleman10 calling it the cardboard burger patty is honestly the most accurate description of how FDDs can trick you. I went through the same panic when I realized my disclosure was missing earnings claims and had to scramble to get the paperwork amended.

Wait, you mean I wasnt the only one who skimmed over the fine print and missed something huge? I remember reading through my FDD last year and I swear I thought I had it all covered until my lawyer pointed out item 19 was completely blank. Pretty sure I just nodded along like I knew what I was doing. Its like ordering a burger and forgetting to ask if the patty is actually made of cardboard. My advice is to go back and check each item on the list one by one even if it hurts your eyes. I felt like a total idiot for missing it but its better to catch it now then sign a dead contract.
