My LLC paperwork sat unsigned for 11 days, then a single inspection notice changed everything

I ignored my registration renewal until a county inspector in Columbus showed up asking about my business license, and now I triple check every filing deadline, has anyone else had a scare like that from putting off legal admin work?

That waiting game is brutal. Once had a similar panic over a zoning form, turned out the deadline was in pencil on my calendar and the dog had eaten the corner of it.
