Those fancy $30 'archival' pens from Etsy dried out in 2 weeks

Bought a set of 5 handcrafted pens from a small shop for my monthly layout and they were completely dead by day 14. Anyone have a brand that actually lasts more than a month?

Completely dead by day 14" - I mean, is it really that big of a deal? They're pens, not a car payment. Just toss 'em and grab a 5-pack of Pilot G2s for like 8 bucks, they'll last you months.

My handwriting's so bad even a Pilot G2 gives up halfway through a shopping list and just starts making scribbles. Day 14 is probably a personal best for me.
