Spent $30 on a meal prep container set that actually saved my grocery budget

I got this 10-pack of glass containers at Target last month and I've been packing lunches every day instead of buying fast food. It's cut my weekly food spending from like $80 to $40 easy. Anybody else find one small purchase that totally changed their spending habits?

And the best part nobody talks about is how much less food waste you have too. I started doing the same thing and I'm actually eating the leftovers instead of letting them rot in the fridge. That $30 turned into way more savings than just cutting out fast food.

Read somewhere that Americans waste like 30% of food and meal prepping cuts that way down.

Wait, you mean I'm supposed to actually eat the food I meal prepped instead of letting it turn into a science experiment in the back of the fridge?
