My sister said she'd never pay for a hotel in Paris again and I thought she was crazy
She just got back and told me she used a house sitting website to stay in a flat near Montmartre for free for 10 days, just by watering plants. I always thought those sites were scams, but she showed me the listing and it was real. Has anyone else tried house sitting in a big city and actually saved serious cash?

Wait hold up, watering plants for a free Paris flat? That's the whole job? Sounds like she got super lucky. I'd be worried about hidden cameras or the owner coming back early. Saving cash is cool but that setup seems way too easy, like there's gotta be a catch they don't tell you upfront.

You said she showed you the listing... did it have a ton of reviews for the homeowner? That's the part that always makes me nervous, trusting a total stranger's profile.
