My old trick for cheap flights totally stopped working last month

I mean, for years I could get a round trip to Denver for under $200 by booking on Tuesday nights and clearing my cookies. Idk, maybe the airlines caught on, but last month I tried it three times and the prices never dropped below $350. I had to scramble and ended up using a points transfer from my credit card to make it work. Has anyone else noticed their go-to flight hack just not cutting it anymore?

I used to swear by the Tuesday night trick for flights to Phoenix, always snagging them for around $180. Something definitely changed in the last few weeks, the prices just sit there now no matter when I look. I even tried the incognito tab thing on three different browsers and got the same high quote. It feels like all the old rules are broken and the algorithms are just smarter now.

Man, this is so real. My buddy was just telling me the same thing last week, he was trying to get to Denver too. He did all the old stuff, clearing his history, checking at weird hours, and the price just laughed at him. It's exactly like @eva_thompson said, the sites just know. He ended up having to drive six hours to a bigger airport to get a decent fare. Feels like the game is completely different now and none of us got the new rulebook.
