Honestly, I used to swear by those "last minute" cruise deals. Spent years stressing and waiting, only to find the prices usually go up, not down. The cheap cabins sell out first, so you're just left with the expensive suites. Now I just book when I see a price I like.

Yeah, I learned that the hard way too, @jennifer204. My "last minute deal" strategy mostly just got me a view of the parking lot from the dock.
