I finally gave up on those pre-cut veggie trays after wasting $12

The convenience is a total lie, they go bad twice as fast as whole vegetables. Anyone have a better system for quick weekday prep?

That "time saver" stuff creating more waste is so true and honestly infuriating.

Ugh, tell me about it. It feels like half the stuff sold as a "time saver" just creates more waste and work. The pre-washed salad in a bag that turns to slime in three days, the individual yogurt cups that cost triple. I just buy whole cucumbers and bell peppers now, chop them on Sunday, and deal with a slightly less pretty but actually edible container all week.

Glass containers with the snap lids. Game changer for chopped veggies. Stays crisp way longer than plastic.
