Bought a fancy digital level for a big job in Toledo... it lasted one day.

The thing just gave up, showing random numbers, and I was out $80. Anyone know a brand that can actually handle some real shop dust?

Big job in Toledo" makes it sound like a war zone. It's a shop, not a foundry. Most decent tools can handle dust if you blow them off at the end of the day. Maybe you just got a bad unit.

Check the IP rating before you buy, a lot of those tools aren't sealed for real dust. I've had good luck with Johnson levels, they seem to hold up better in messy shops. Just blow it out with air at lunch and end of day, that usually keeps it going.

Well, Toledo's dust is clearly on another level.
