Just realized how tough it is to source clean coal during festival season.

Drove hours to a historic forge event, only to find they sold out early. My demo might be a bust without the right fuel.

Wild how festival demand messes up supply chains you wouldn't even think about lol. Maybe try hitting up a local blacksmith group for a lead?

Totally get how you feel... that drive alone would have me steamed. It's crazy how these niche supplies dry up the minute a big event rolls around. Makes planning anything a real gamble. I bet the local groups are swamped with requests too right now. Just a tough spot all around. Fingers crossed something turns up for you.

Yeah the festival demand thing reminds me of a friend who does historical reenactment. Heard from him last year it's the same deal getting good charcoal.

Man that's so frustrating, isn't it? It's like the whole scene just hits a wall when one key thing gets scarce. I feel for ivant51 too, that kind of stress is the worst. Your friend's reenactment story totally tracks, seems like any time people need stuff for an event the good supplies just vanish. Makes you wonder who's sitting on all the decent charcoal right now.
