Can we talk about how long it takes to find a truly bad movie?

I mean, I spent like 45 minutes scrolling through streaming services last Friday trying to find something so bad it's good for our movie night. I ended up picking this 80s horror flick called "The Evil Below" that had a ship captain fighting a kraken with a harpoon. The acting was terrible and the effects were awful, but it took way too long to hunt down something that hit that sweet spot. Has anyone else run into this problem where you spend more time searching than watching?

Spent the better part of two hours last Saturday doing the same exact thing. I finally settled on a 90s shark movie called "The Shark Attack" or something generic like that. The shark looked like a pool floatie with googly eyes glued on. Half the fun was the search honestly, but yeah, the struggle is way too real when you just want some cheap laughs. At this point I'm convinced the streaming algorithms purposely hide the real garbage.

Everything's a search now, even finding peace of mind.

My buddy Mike watched that same floatie shark movie @harper_foster, couldn't stop laughing at it.
