Debated between a tube feeder and a hopper feeder for months

Finally went with a hopper feeder last week cause the squirrels kept emptying my tube feeder in hours. Anyone else have better luck with one style over the other?

Honestly, @faith_thomas said it best - hopper feeders really are the unsung heroes of backyard birding. Tbh, I tried a tube feeder for like two weeks and the squirrels treated it like an all-you-can-eat buffet. Ngl, the hopper design just makes more sense if you're dealing with messy wildlife. The tray catches all the seed hulls and keeps the ground cleaner too. Solid choice going with the hopper, you won't regret it.
