My home garage was a mess until I applied aircraft wire routing tricks.

Now everything has a place and is easy to find.

Aircraft wire routing tricks" for a garage? Seems a bit over the top. It's a garage, not a spaceship. Did it actually make that much of a difference?

It might seem over the top, but those wiring tricks have real benefits. They keep wires neat and protected, which is key in a garage with all the movement and mess. I used similar ideas in my space, and it's much easier to work on projects now. Ngl, the initial setup takes time, but you'll thank yourself later when nothing's tangled or broken. It's a smart way to avoid future problems.

Totally get where Wyatt's coming from, I used to think the same way and thought it was just for looks. But after having a cheap extension cord get crushed by a ladder falling, I tried some of those basic tricks just to keep things safer. The difference is legit, stuff doesn't snag or get damaged from random garage chaos. It didn't turn my shed into a lab or anything, but it saved me from what would've been another tripped breaker and a fried power strip. For the little bit of extra time it takes, it's way better than fixing busted gear later.

Heard a buddy say he used some of those cable management clips and raceways in his garage and it stopped him from accidentally pulling his workbench off the wall when he rolled over a cord with his toolbox. Food for thought, right?
