I finally figured out why my clear coat kept hazing on this black Honda

It happened last Tuesday on a 2018 Civic I was finishing up. The humidity spiked to 80% in the booth right as I started spraying. I ended up mixing a slower reducer into my last coat, which bought me the extra flash time I needed. Has anyone else found a good way to handle sudden weather changes mid-job?

80% humidity in the booth is insane!

Saw a tech article last week that said high humidity like that, @robinf51, can really mess with microphone diaphragms. It causes this weird muffled sound and can even lead to corrosion over time. They said studios usually fight to keep it under 60% for gear safety. Makes you wonder what the air conditioning situation must be in that booth.

My buddy had his podcast setup in a basement that got really damp. His nice condenser mic started sounding like he was talking through a blanket after a few months. He opened it up and there was this fine white powder on the inside, some kind of corrosion from the moisture. Totally killed the mic. He runs a dehumidifier right next to his gear now, never lets it get past 50%.
