Three years ago I got into a huge fight with my friend over the ending of Attack on Titan

We were at a con in Atlanta and he said the final arc ruined the whole show for him. I still think he's wrong because the last fight with Eren was the only way it could end. Anyone else have a friend who just can't see a show's ending your way?

Man that fight sounds so familiar. Some endings just split a friend group right down the middle.

Sometimes a clean break is what everyone needed.

But what if the mess is actually better? A clean break just sweeps all the real problems under the rug so nobody has to deal with them. It leaves everyone with a bunch of unfinished business and hurt feelings that never get talked out. Sometimes you need to sit in the ugly middle of it and actually work things through, even if it's hard.
