Hit 500 hand-written letters this month without even aiming for it

I started writing letters to my grandpa 2 years ago just to pass the time during my lunch breaks. This morning I stacked them all up to clear my desk and counted 512, which made me realize how much I actually look forward to sitting down with a pen instead of a keyboard. Has anyone else tracked a simple habit like this and been surprised by the total?
