At the family reunion, my cousins all said group skincare chats are fun, but I totally disagree after what happened.

They started debating toners during dinner (which was weird, right?), and I think forcing skincare talk into every gathering just makes things awkward for no reason.

My cousin brought a printed spreadsheet about sunscreen to our July barbecue and made everyone rate their favorite brands before we could get burgers. It felt like a weird homework assignment nobody asked for. Do your cousins get actually upset if you don't want to participate in the skincare talk, or do they just steamroll ahead anyway?

It gets so weird when family time turns into a product panel. My cousin once spent twenty minutes explaining pore extraction over the potato salad. Can you even enjoy your meal after that? Some topics just don't belong at the dinner table, you know?

Used to brush off my cousin's product talks too until one brought charts like eva_morgan11 said. Actually seeing data next to the deviled eggs changed my mind, some stuff is just too gross for the dinner table.
