My draft from last week cuts straight from the neural implant surgery to the rooftop chase. I guess I internalized that editing philosophy a bit too well. Now my grocery lists just say 'food' and 'more food'.

Used to be all about cutting every extra word, but @jana_grant has a point. Sometimes the avocado's backstory is the whole point.
