Just realized the flea market hunt for retro games has dried up around here.

I remember digging through bins and finding cartridges for a few bucks. These days, it's all picked clean or listed for crazy prices online.

Ugh, tell me about it. My last few trips were a total bust, just sports games and empty cases. I've had way better luck hitting up garage sales early on Saturday mornings, or checking the electronics shelf at thrift stores in the next town over. The secret's totally out on the flea market bins, so you gotta get creative now. It's a bummer, but that's just how it goes these days.

Nah man flea markets can still be gold if you hit the right sellers. I found a complete copy of Chrono Trigger just last month buried under some junk dvds. Garage sales are way more hit or miss for me, people google everything now. You just gotta dig deeper and talk to the vendors, sometimes they hold the good stuff back.

Finding empty cases is just brutal, it totally kills the hunt for me. Kevin Jackson62 must have been in the right place at the right time for Chrono Trigger, but I haven't seen a find like that in ages. Flea market sellers are way too savvy now, they pull anything valuable before it hits the bins. Garage sales are a crapshoot because everyone has a phone in their pocket to look up prices. Driving to the next town for thrift stores is my last hope, but even that is drying up. The whole scene feels picked over unless you want to spend a fortune.
