Every patio job promised in two weeks magically becomes four.

How do you handle these timeline extensions?

Wait, the wrong stone got shipped? That's not a weather hiccup, that's someone not reading an order sheet... probably while hungover. You're telling me a professional supplier can't tell basalt from bluestone? That one mistake throws the whole crew off for days, clients start calling every afternoon, and suddenly your two-week dream patio is a month-long anxiety attack.

Do they use a different calendar (one where 'two weeks' means 'whenever')?

Consider how unpredictable outdoor projects can be. I mean, last summer we had a job where the ground was too wet for a week straight. Then the supplier shipped the wrong stone, adding more days. Idk, maybe it's just me but I see these hiccups as normal, not magic. Handling it means updating the client honestly and adjusting the schedule as needed. It's frustrating, but rushing leads to worse problems.
